A Blok is a Soviet-era apartment building.

This is one of six in Straldja.

Our apartment is on the third floor, second balcony from the right.

You can see our towels hanging out to dry.

Most people use this kind of machine for washing diapers.

It agitates for a few minutes and then gets hot and freezes up.

All rinsing and wringing out is done by hand!
